He's her father figure since her biological father passed away. He was the first person she saw when she landed on the beach and the one she followed until the Soul Society.
She showed him a great deal of respect and affection, and tried to help him as best she could as a child with his health problems.
She calls him Take-dono* Ginrei Kuchiki
Another male figure she respects and admires from the dephts of her heart. He will be an inspiration to her as a strong Shinigami, at the point that later she decided to wear a black turtleneck under her Shihakushō to pay tribute to him.* Byakuya Kuchiki
He's her childhood friend. At first sight, they didn't get on, until the day Byakuya found her crying one stormy night and stayed with her to comfort her. Despite their opposing characters, they have forged a strong friendship.
As the story unfolds, they develop a more intimate relationship.
